of his knowledge and fitness for the office, Lou Hesse was ordained
as pastor of Living Word Lutheran Church on July 10, 2010, with the
Rev. Dr. Jim Nestingen (emeritus, Luther Seminary) officiating.
At the conclusion of the service, the congregation enjoyed a reception
held at the ML Christian Academy event center.
Rev. Hesse serves as a bivocational pastor, earning his living as a farmer
in Grant County, WA. Pastor Michael Wiser will continue to visit Living
Word on the first and third Sundays of the month.
