Operation Christmas Child
Collection of full boxes is happening now (Nov 16-23), at Lake City Foursquare Church.  Please bring your filled box (or items to put into a box) to the church THIS SUNDAY.   If you would like to deliver yours directly, hours are 10 am to noon and 1 to 4 PM weekdays.  LAST COLLECTION DATE IS MONDAY, Nov. 23.  The Samaritan Purse website (samaritanspurse.org) has gift suggestions, packing instructions, and even links for you to do this all online. I can pick up from your home if you aren't able to make it out or to church this week, but have one ready to go.   (Debbie, 509-750-2486)

Thanksgiving Meal Donations
UPDATE: Paul and Kris Emers-n at Moses Lake Grocrey Outlet were asked to supply Thanksgiving Dinner for 30 at-risk homeless youth, but logistics were a problem.  Through some serendipidous (we don't believe in coincidence!) connections, this need has been filled.  Meals are all paid for via donations to/from the Road Brothers (motorcycle club?), and will be prepared at a local restaurant, thus helping the club, the kids, and a local business as well.
TURKEY DRIVE: A turkey/Thanksgiving Meal drive happening this week, for others in the community in need, via the ML Food Bank.
You can purchase a "bag" for $10 at ML Grocery Outlet, or donate cash that will be used to purchase these bags (before Saturday the 21st).  More details outlined on the ML Grocery Outlet Facebook page. [ Living Word has donated $500 of our benevolence fund to help with this drive, enough for 50 of the 150 they hope to assemble.]

A Service of Thanksgiving
Tuesday, November 24 -- Join us for a time of praise and giving thanks to the One from whom all our blessings flow.  7:00 - 8:00, in the sanctuary or online via Facebook Live.

The first Sunday in ADVENT is November 29th.  We are seeking people (families, couples, friends, and/or individuals)  to participate in the Lighting of the Advent Candle Litany at the beginning of the services during the 4 weeks of Advent, as well as Christmas Eve.  A sign up sheet is on the fellowship hall island -- please look for it and choose your Sunday.
(Nov. 29 is covered.)  All readings and prayers are provided; you just provide the voice(s).
CHRISTMAS TREE decorating will take place after the service on Sunday, Nov. 29th, for our sanctuary tree if you would like to help,  or supervise placement of the decorations.

Habitat for Humanity Festival of the Trees
Decorated trees will be on display downtown in the Smith-Martin (old JC Penney) building Nov. 30 - Dec. 5 for viewing.  The auction takes place Dec. 6.  Call for registration details.  Find more information on the Habitat for Humanity Moses Lake  Facebook Page.
