'SOUP'er Bowl Sunday --- ML Food Bank
Regardless of what you think about football games, there is always a need in our community and this is one way to be reminded.  Please bring a can or two (or more!) of soup to church on Sunday in honor of SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY.   Other non-perishable foods are welcome, as well.  We will collect these each Sunday of February and donate them to the ML Food Bank in March.


Magazines and Extra Bracelets Available
The latest Connections Magazine is on the table in the fellowship hall near the kitchen;  There are also extra Isaiah 43:1 bracelets there if you'd like to share one with a friend or two!

USDA Food Box Community Distribution Event*
"Moses Lake Christian Church is partnering with Cascadia Produce to be a distribution location for USDA food boxes.  [They will be] giving away boxes from "truck to trunk" to anyone who would like a 30 ound box of food."   Every Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM,  now through February 25th -- Moses Lake Christian Church on Yonezawa Blvd.   Boxes are free and there is no 'proof of need' required to receive a box.  Typical box contains potatoes, onions, apples, other veg/fruit, a gallon of milk, cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, sour cream, pre-cooked meats.
*Demand is high;  week one they were out of boxes by noon.

ASH WEDNESDAY and the LENTEN SEASON
   Ash Wednesday Service:  7:00 PM, February 17 -- in person, and online Facebook LIVE.

>>Due to virus restrictions, we will forego the tradition of gathering before the Lenten services for the simple soup & bread suppers at the church.
     You might consider a smaller gathering of 2-3 families at someone's home instead, as far as you are comfortable.

   Wednesdays during LentFeb. 24, March 3, 10, 17, & 24 -- Lenten Services at 7:00 PM, in person/Facebook LIVE.
     Palm Sunday:  regular Sunday service (Palms distributed on Saturday like last year).  Brunch may be considered if the county has moved to Phase 2.
     Holy Week:  Maundy Thursday Service with the Lord's Supper, April 1, 7 PM;  Good Friday Service, April 7, 7:00 PM
    Easter Sunday:  April 3, 9:00 AM  -- if you are willing/able to supply special music (vocal, instrumental), let us know!
