HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE:
Palms can be picked up in the parking lot on Saturday morning (3/27, 9:30 - 11 AM) if you aren't yet attending in person, so you can have them for Sunday's service. Or hang them as a celebratory display on your front door (alone or with other greenery).
PALM SUNDAY -- March 28, 9:00 AM, with a little brunch following (see below).
MAUNDY THURSDAY -- April 1, 7:00 PM -- with the Lord's Supper
GOOD FRIDAY Service -- April 2, 7:00 PM
EASTER SUNDAY -- April 4, 9 AM -- Phase 3 at 50% after March 22, so there will be space for everyone who wants to be there.
PALM SUNDAY CINNAMON ROLLS for BRUNCH -- Sunday, March 28, following the service. We will have an abbreviated brunch rather than the entire traditional production from our past (Just wait until next year!!) Cinnamon rolls or other similar fare, and beverages are the plan.
If you can/would like to bring something to share, cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, or whatever other handy to eat items that go with those are welcome. Keeping it simple.
**Need help scheduling a vaccine appointment? If you qualify for and want the vaccine but haven't been able to navigate the online hoops to make an appointment, please let us know -- we can connect you with someone who is more internet-savvy that has offered to help! Options include the one-dose Johnson & Johnson (available at Ephrata Walmart and ML Community Health Center, among other sites); Pfizer and Moderna (2 doses with 21 or 28 days between them).
**Want to get a vaccine but are not yet "qualified"? Grant County Health Department is taking applications (age 18+) for medical and non-medical volunteers to work at a vaccine event in the county. Shifts are generally 4.5 hours, but you can go up to 10 or 12 hours. Volunteers will receive a certificate of eligibility for a vaccine. Apply online at Grant County Health. Age 60 and over will be eligible as of March 31 !
Got Graduates? So that I don't miss any, if you are or have a student that will graduate from High School or college in 2021, clue me in ... we like to at least give a mention to recognize them, and what they plan to do next. HS grads are eligible for a scholarship from Living Word if they will be attending 'full time' college or trade school in their next phase of education. Contact Debbie for application forms (or reply to this email)
