This Sunday, May 30, is Trinity Sunday, when we celebrate and honor what the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have done to accomplish salvation for sinful humanity. On Trinity Sunday, the Sunday following Pentecost each year, we recite the third of the great creeds, the Athanasian Creed, which makes the concept of the triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as clear as this mystery can be made. Although the concept can never be completely understood and the word "Trinity" does not appear in the Bible, the Trinity is clearly taught in Scripture.
New issue is here! Pick up a copy from the table by the kitchen -- Pastor Lou has written another article in this issue, if that interests you -- Read, keep, return, or share!
Crossroads Baby Bottle Fundraiser
Although many from Living Word participate in this throughout the year, the Crossroads Baby Bottle Fundraiser *officially* takes place between Mother's Day (May 9) and Father's Day (June 20) each year. If you'd like to participate at this time or with an extra donation, baby bottles are on the table in the fellowship hall and we will hunt up some more this week. Fill one with spare change, bills, or a check, and return it to the church or to Crossroads on/before June 20. There is also a "text to give" option: 509-761-6420. ** Thank you for the generous donations already given.**

Seeking Auction Donations
Hello Facebook Friends! We are getting ready for our Independence from Hunger Food Drive and need your help. If you are an artist, local business, know someone one that may be interested, or would personally like to donate to our online auction we would appreciate it if you could reach out to us. All items donated will be placed in the auction. The auction will go live July 1, 2021 (or before) and run for about 3 weeks. 100% of all money raised will be donated to our Independence for Hunger Community Partner Care Sacks. All donations stay local to help provide sack lunches to those experiencing food insecurities. If you can help please respond to the post or send us a message. Sharing this post will also help a great deal. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000. That is a HUGE goal and cannot be done without the support of our community. Thank you in advance.
